The Hive Dance Company, based in Leaside, Toronto, is renowned for its Acrobatics program for children, including exciting specialties like Tumbling, Hand Balancing, Contortion & Aerial Arts. We also offer a wide range of dance styles—Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop—at both recreational and competitive levels. Our passionate instructors provide expert training while fostering a creative and inclusive environment where students grow in confidence, artistry, and teamwork. At The Hive, we believe in building lasting friendships and encouraging collaboration, helping our dancers develop both individually and as part of a team.

Our daughter has been a student (and a competitor for) a number of studios over the years. The Hive Dance Company is more than a first-rate dance school. It is a family. At the centre of the family are three amazing women whose passion and hard work have built something truly special.

Over the past year, it has been great to see dancers building their skills, discipline, and teamwork. While the trophies are a testament to their efforts, as a parent, it is more incredible to see how proud the kids are to be part of this school. And it is so refreshing to see The Hive puts the kids first.

We can't thank Alice, Michele and Mallory enough for their countless acts of kindness, generosity and support... all in the interest of developing happy, healthy, confident girls and boys who are also, by the way, very talented dancers!

The Hive is a different dance school. In all the right ways.
